Serial Sexual Assailant Sentenced to 45 Years in State Prison

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Westchester County District Attorney Susan Cacace announced that Eleuterio Duran, 38, of Yonkers, was sentenced on Tuesday to 45 years total in state prison.

In December, Duran was convicted of numerous felonies in relation to his violent, sexual abuse of two individuals, one of whom is a minor. The breakdown of the sentence is 25 years in state prison for offenses committed against the minor child victim and 20 years for the offense committed against the second victim. These sentences will run consecutively.

Duran, who was sentenced by Judge Robert Prisco, was further sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision.

DA Cacace said: “We are pleased with the substantial prison sentence given to Eleuterio Duran. We hope that this sentence will offer some relief to the victims in this case, both of whom testified courageously in this trial. They will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

“The hard work and determination of the investigators and prosecutors in this case have not gone unnoticed. I am extremely grateful for their efforts.”

Between 2020 and 2023, Duran repeatedly sexually abused raped an underage victim. Between 2012 and 2013, Duran also raped another victim who was incapacitated.

The investigation was conducted by the Yonkers Police Department and the Special Prosecutions Division.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Baehr and former Senior Assistant District Attorney Charlotte Gudis, of the Special Prosecutions Division.
