Defendant: Autumn Graham (DOB: 11/5/74)

Aug. 5, 2019 -- Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced Autumn Graham, of New Rochelle, was arraigned this afternoon in New Rochelle City Court on a charge of Assault in the First Degree, a class B felony, in connection with the weekend stabbing of a city man. Following today’s arraignment, Graham was remanded into custody. She is due back in court Aug. 19, 2019.

Background
On Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019, at approximately 8:45 a.m., the victim left his apartment to go to work. As he was walking in front of 345 Main Street, New Rochelle, Autumn Graham walked toward him. She then stopped, stabbed him in the back of the left neck/shoulder area and walked away. Police responded and found the victim with the knife still in his back. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx with serious injuries to his spinal cord.

The defendant is a resident of a shelter for the homeless. Police found her Saturday morning in a city park where she was arrested and taken into custody.
