June 29, 2015 -- Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced today that Michael Eisenberg (DOB 05/07/86) of 1 Park Avenue, Eastchester, New York pled guilty to:

  • one count of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “D” Felony
  • one count of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” Felony.

On Feb. 4, 2015 investigators from the District Attorney’s office received a Cyber Tip Report from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. They traced the computer’s IP Address to a location in Westchester County where images containing child pornography had been downloaded.

Among the images downloaded were prepubescent girls in various stages of undress with adult males also not wearing any clothing.

On Feb. 12, 2015 investigators from this office along with members of the Eastchester Police Department executed a search warrant on the defendant’s apartment.

The following items were recovered:

  • 17 thumb drives containing child pornography,
  • the defendant’s current cellphone containing child pornography,
  • 2 laptops containing child pornography,
  • 3 external hard drives of which two contained child pornography.

In total over seven thousand images were discovered.

Eisenberg was placed under arrest by investigators from the District Attorney’s Office.


He is currently remanded to the Westchester County Jail.

Sentencing for Eisenberg will be on Sept. 8, 2015.

As the defendant has a previous felony conviction, he faces an enhanced sentence of which the maximum is seven years in state prison.

Assistant District Attorney Laura Forbes of the High Technology Crime Bureau is prosecuting the case.
