March 5, 2018 -- Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. today announced that a New Rochelle man who is a special education teacher at Lewis and Clark High School in the Bronx has been arraigned on child pornography charges.

Tyler Davidson (DOB: 08/06/1980), who was arraigned in New Rochelle City Court, was charged with one count of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child and one count of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child.

In October 2017, an e-mail service provider detected suspicious activity relating to Davidson’s account. After the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force referred information to the High Technology Crime Bureau in the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, investigators executed a search warrant on Friday, March 2, 2018, at Davidson’s residence and seized his computers. A preliminary forensic review of the computers revealed numerous pornographic images of girls under the age of 10.

If convicted, Davidson faces seven years in state prison. He is due back in court on March 15, 2018.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Michael Delohery, Bureau Chief of the High Technology Crime Bureau.
