Defendant: Harry Quintana-Cruz aka “YG” (DOB 06/14/91)

April 9, 2019 -- Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino Jr. announced that Harry Quintana-Cruz of Yonkers pleaded guilty to Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a class B felony.

Quintana-Cruz was arrested by Yonkers Police Dec. 19, 2018, following an indictment handed up that day by a Westchester County Grand Jury. He appeared Monday (April 8) before Westchester County Court Judge George Fufidio who accepted the felony plea on the eve of trial in full satisfaction of the indictment.

Quintana-Cruz is scheduled for sentencing June 7, 2019, to six and a half years in state prison as a second felony offender, with one and a half years of post-release supervision.

Background
On four separate occasions in March and April 2017, Quintana-Cruz sold crack cocaine to an undercover Yonkers Police Officer in the Nodine Hill section of the City. Narcotics officers focused on that area because of the activity of the 150 Clan, a gang operating in that vicinity.

This case was part of a multi-agency 2017 narcotics investigation in the City of Yonkers conducted by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, the Yonkers Police Department and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

Assistant District Attorney Stephen A. Ronco of the Investigations Division is prosecuting the case.
