Within the Westchester County District Attorneys Office, and under the supervision of the Criminal Investigators, is the District Attorney’s Crime Strategies Center (CSC). The CSC consists of two High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) analysts, two WCDAO crime analysts and three WCDAO senior crime analysts. One of these analysts is a new grant-funded analyst dedicated to work on hate and bias crimes and incidents throughout the County. Collectively, CSC Analysts conduct high-level analysis, utilizing multiple methods of data collection in order to develop actionable intelligence, proactively combat crime, establish investigative priorities for the Office, enhance cases and provide trial support to Assistant District Attorneys. CSC analysts are also embedded with HIDTA’s Gun Violence Strategy Partnership, which includes, federal, state and local law enforcement partners.
