WHITE PLAINS MAN PLEADS GUILTY IN knifepoint rape

 

 

 

Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced that Alberto Gomez Ojeda (DOB 03/13/83) of 125 Lake Street, White Plains, New York, pled guilty today to:

 

·         one count of Predatory Sexual Assault in the First Degree, class “A-II” Felony.

 

On March 30, 2012 shortly after midnight, the defendant approached a 26 year old female stranger, who was walking home alone from work in the area of Lake Street in White Plains.

 

The defendant brandished a knife, placed it against the victim’s neck and face while dragging her down a dark driveway.

 

The defendant then sexually assaulted and forcibly raped the victim at knifepoint.

 

The defendant then fled the scene. 

 

White Plains Police were immediately notified, canvassed the area and began an investigation.

 

The defendant was arrested by the White Plains police on April 1, 2012.

 

His remand status is continued.

 

Sentencing will be on November 13th, 2012.

 

Assistant District Attorney Wendy Parra of the Sex Crimes Bureau prosecuted the case.
