TWO MASSAGE PARLORS BUSTED IN ELMSFORD
Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore announced the arrests of Yu Lin aka Jin Yuji, (DOB 2/11/64) of 34-13 146th Street, Flushing, New York, In Jung, (DOB 7/01/54) of 143-36 Barclay Avenue, Flushing, New York, Huang G. Ming aka Marrie (DOB 04/23/59) of 43-33 147th Street, Flushing, New York and Meiyue Gao (DOB 11/10/55) of 130-24 Sanford Avenue, Flushing, New York on one count of Unauthorized Practice, a class “E” Felony and one count of Promoting Prostitution in the Fourth Degree, a class “A” Misdemeanor.
Additionally, Nan Suk Clark aka Candy, (DOB 1/18/47) of 65-14 Woodside Avenue, Woodside, New York was arrested on one count of Promoting Prostitution in the Third Degree, a class “D” Felony.
Investigators from the Westchester County District Attorney’s office, along with the Elmsford Police, Elmsford Building Inspector and the New York City Police Department raided two Massage Parlors, the Lily Relaxation Spa located at 133 East Main Street and the Sky Health Center located at 27 East Main Street in the Village of Elmsford last night.
Over the period of about two months, from September, 2006 to November, 2006, the first four defendants offered massages which they were not licensed by the State of New York to perform and engaged or offered to engage in sexual conduct with another person in return for a fee.
The fifth defendant, the manager of Lily Relaxation Spa, advanced and profited from prostitution activity conducted by three female employees who the defendant supervised.
All five were arraigned this afternoon in the Town of Greenburgh Court.
The “D” Felony carries a maximum of seven years in state prison. The “E” Felony carries a maximum of four years in state prison.
Assistant District Attorney Steven Vandervelden, Chief of the Organized Crime and Criminal Enterprise Bureau, and Assistant District Attorney Mary Anne Liebowitz will prosecute the case.
