June 28, 2017 -- Westchester County District Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. announced today that Erika Flores (DOB 08/09/70) of 62 Ferris Place, Ossining, NY pled guilty before Judge Larry Schwartz to:

  • one count of Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, a class “C” Felony.

The defendant was the accounting clerk for Prospero Equipment Corp. in Pleasantville for approximately ten years and was responsible for accounts payable for the credit cards used by the company.   

An investigation by the Mount Pleasant Police Department and Westchester County District Attorney’s Office revealed that the defendant used the company credit cards for years without permission and falsified records to conceal her personal charges. It was determined that the defendant stole approximately $251,437.58 by using two company credit cards for personal expenses such as food, travel and clothing.        

The defendant was arrested by the Mount Pleasant Police on June 30, 2016.

 She will be sentenced on Sept. 27, 2017.

The defendant faces a maximum sentence of fifteen years in state prison.

Assistant District Attorney Nicole Gamble of the Economics Crime Bureau is prosecuting the case.
