New York State has recently passed the toughest impaired driving law in the country.

 

As a result of a tragic alcohol related accident in New York City last year, the New York State Legislature has elevated certain laws relating to DWI and DWAI crimes.

 

The District Attorney's office has produced a 30 second TV spot  emphasizing the strengthened penalties that defendants face if they are convicted.

This task force consists of three investigators, including a financial investigator from the New York State Banking Department, a certified public accountant and an experienced white collar prosecutor.
