Directions to the District Attorney’s Office:

By Train: Take Metro North Railroad (Harlem Division) to White Plains Station. The White Plains Station is within a half mile walk or taxi-ride to the Courthouse Building and other County offices in Downtown White Plains. By Bus: Over thirty-five communities are linked to downtown White Plains by direct bus services or with bus routing requiring one transfer. For detailed information call the Westchester County Bee-Line Bus Information Center at (914) 813-7777.

By Automobile:
Taconic State Parkway to Sprain Brook Parkway (south of Hawthorne Interchange); take Sprain Brook Parkway to I-287 east (White Plains) exit on the left; continue east on I-287 to Exit 5; right turn at end of ramp onto Route 119, Tarrytown Road; follow directions detailed in below.

(A) Continue on Tarrytown Road, Route 119 east which becomes Main Street (under the railroad bridge); continue on Main Street for 2 blocks, make right onto South Lexington Avenue, go two blocks, make a left onto Quarropos Street for one block. The Courthouse is on your left.

Bronx River Parkway south to Exit 22; right at County Center, White Plains; left at traffic light onto Tarrytown Road (Route 119 east); follow directions detailed in (A) above.

Route 9 to Route 9A to I-287 east to Exit 5; follow directions detailed in (A) above.

Saw Mill River Parkway to Taconic Parkway to Sprain Parkway south to I-287 east (White Plains) exit on the left; continue east on I-287 to Exit 5; right turn at end of ramp onto Route 119, Tarrytown Road; follow directions detailed in (A) above.

Interstate Route 684 south to I-287 west (White Plains) exit; take I-287 west a short distance to Exit 8 onto Westchester Avenue; continue westbound toward White Plains; follow directions detailed in (B) below.

(B) Continue west on Westchester Ave.; after first light stay to the left (Rt. 119) and follow Westchester Ave. into White Plains, passing The Westchester Mall on left; road veers right, but stay to the left up hill (follow sign for "Central Business District"), turn onto South Broadway (Rt. 22), move to far right and make first right at light onto Martine Ave. and go 3 blocks to the Westchester County Office and Courthouse buildings on the left after Court St.

New York State Thruway (I-87) across Tappan Zee Bridge to Exit 8 onto Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) east to Exit 5; follow the directions detailed in (A) above. From the East (Connecticut and New England States):•

Merritt Parkway (Conn.) to the Hutchinson River Parkway (N.Y.) to the Exit 26, Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) west to White Plains; continue on I-287 to Exit 8 onto Westchester Ave; follow the directions detailed in (B) above.

Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 21, Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) west to White Plains to Exit 8 onto Westchester Avenue; follow the directions detailed in (B) above.
George Washington Bridge to Henry Hudson Parkway (north-upstate); continue north to Saw Mill River Parkway to the New York State Thruway (I-87) to Exit 8; Cross Westchester Expressway (I-287) east to Exit 5; follow the directions detailed in (A) above.

Bronx River Parkway to Exit 21 White Plains – Main Street; right turn on Main Street and proceed 4 blocks to Court Street; right turn on Court Street; one block to Martine Avenue; right turn on Martine; Westchester County Office and Courthouse buildings are on the left.

COMPLAINT FORM

If you would like to file a complaint about a person or business located in Westchester County, you can DOWNLOAD a complaint form.

Any supporting documents and photographs should be COPIES. We will not be able to return any material enclosed with the form.

The form MUST be mailed to the District Attorney's office at the address on the form. We do not accept complaints via fax or email.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

 

The Westchester County District Attorney's Office has full and part-time internship positions available throughout the year.

 

During the fall and spring semesters, part-time positions available to both law school students and undergraduates.

 

During the summer, full-time positions available to law students and part-time positions available to undergraduates.

 

Internships provide a great opportunity for students to learn about the District Attorney's office as well as the workings of the criminal justice system.

 

A recent "graduate" of the District Attorney's office internship program wrote about his experiences in his college paper:
